Abstract
Emotion plays an important role in building more human-like social chatbots. A lot of recent research has focused on building an empathetic dialogue system using information from emotions. The goal of this project is to analyze emotional information from college-related Reddit posts by classifying emotions and constructing storylines in large corpus. This provides insights into patterns of emotion flows and compares different deep learning models to achieve best results.
